Today started off pretty uneventful, it consisted of working on the dissertation and reading the girl with the dragon tattoo – I finished it!!
For dinner we went to McDonalds then we got a rickshaw to reliance mart, where I got some sneakers, t-shirts, we also got some cereal, yogurt, bananas and ice cream to have ourselves a lovely dessert when we got home. When we got back we watched a movie and ate ice cream ☺
We found out the next day that Ci had had a very eventful evening, she went with G to the movies and on the way home the traffic was so bad that they decided to get out of the taxi early and walk the rest of the way home. Unfortunately Ci thought she was following G’s path but actually she could not have been as she ended up falling down an open manhole – which was a result of all the construction going on in our area. G couldn’t get Ci out and had to call for help, some men came and pulled her out. She had been covered up to her chin in dirty water and her shoes and umbrella were still in the hole. Luckily she only had a few knocks and wounds, but all the same a rather traumatic experience I think.
